0.0.2 - Announcement and Thoughts


Hi all, I am still working on the HackeRPG project and am currently in the process of content planning for version 0.0.2. This and future versions will not be a release version. Rather, it's something of an early access or prototype. Which leads to:

    1. Any in-game mechanics and decisions can be changed/removed.
    2. Your wishes for the game can be accommodated.
    3. Possible bugs.

    Controls in the game at first glance may seem quite complicated and not enough action. With experience the game becomes more dynamic, but I still have ideas on how to make the game feel much more epic and make you feel like a real hacker. However, these solutions do not apply to version 0.0.2.

    Regarding content in a future version, I plan to add:

    1. More variety of enemies (with different behaviors).
    2. The ability to pump up the character's combat characteristics.
    3. Improvement of the visual component.
    4. More sound effects!
    5. Small general improvements.

    The list of ideas for future versions is actually much longer. But I don't want to delay the early build releases so that I know exactly which mechanics work well and which don't.
