0.0.2 - Announcement and Thoughts
Hi all, I am still working on the HackeRPG project and am currently in the process of content planning for version 0.0.2. This and future versions will not be a release version. Rather, it's something of an early access or prototype. Which leads to:
- Any in-game mechanics and decisions can be changed/removed.
- Your wishes for the game can be accommodated.
- Possible bugs.
Controls in the game at first glance may seem quite complicated and not enough action. With experience the game becomes more dynamic, but I still have ideas on how to make the game feel much more epic and make you feel like a real hacker. However, these solutions do not apply to version 0.0.2.
Regarding content in a future version, I plan to add:
- More variety of enemies (with different behaviors).
- The ability to pump up the character's combat characteristics.
- Improvement of the visual component.
- More sound effects!
- Small general improvements.
The list of ideas for future versions is actually much longer. But I don't want to delay the early build releases so that I know exactly which mechanics work well and which don't.
